About Tom & Michaela

Tom Kitchin is one of Scotland’s most experienced and talented young chefs. Tom starting his career at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel near his childhood home in Kinross, before training and working alongside some of the world’s most respected chefs at their 3-star Michelin establishments, including Pierre Koffmann at La Tante Claire in London, Guy Savoy at Restaurant Guy Savoy in Paris and Alain Ducasse at the Louis XV in Monte Carlo. He has also been Executive Head Chef on the private yacht of JCB company owner Sir Anthony and Lady Bamford.

Michaela Kitchin has held management positions at several of the world’s finest hotels. She began her hotel management career in her native Sweden before completing a Hotel and Restaurant Management degree at University of Surrey. After working for the renowned London caterer Anton Mosimann, Michaela joined the Savoy Management Training Programme and was then Groups Executive at The Savoy London before joining The Savoy Group including Claridges, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Savoy and Lygon Arms. She then worked for several years as Business Development Manager at the super-luxury hotel Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
